Moving to Japan has made me do things I never thought I'd do. I've watched three seasons of Lost and the OC. I've gone over five days without checking my email. I had a job interview where a full-grown Japanese woman pretended to be 3.
Ahyhoo, they dont sell anything resembling a veggie-burger on this side of the country so I figured out how to make one.
I didnt know what "grating" was so I peeled and diced.Mushrooms, Green Onions, Corn, and Red PeppersIm so freakin healthy.Sizzle, sizzle, etc.Mush with some breadcrumbs and make delicious veggie-balls.Came out pretty tasty. Can you guess what I've had for dinner the last four nights?

Jeannette!!!! I am soooo proud of you! Those look super delish. The best veggie burgers in the whole Orient!
Guess what i picked up at the grocery store today? Inoki Mushrooms! You know that ones that squeak when you chew them, and surprisingly pop out whole from the other side ;) you know what i mean.

dude. you are my new idol. those look excellent. and make me kinda want to maybe think about considering not eating meat. again.
look at you! cooking like a big girl!
good for you!
That actually DOES look pretty tasty. I have a soft side for those thingies. Although I prefer them in the shape of fishsticks. But I really like eating vegetable stuff that has the proper OMMPH to it. Like salad with tons of corn and feta. Stuff that actually FILLS you.
I can cook a bit, too, but it´s just mung bean "Daal" with rice.
that looks really good! :-D
