Antonio-san's obsession with movies led us into an entirely Japanese discussion about the 1998 film Apt Pupil (Japanese title: Golden Boy) and the tragic death of star Brad Renfro, his post-mordeum Oscar snub, and how he was in my favorite movie ever, Ghost World.

Wow. I can't imagine many people list Ghost World as their favorite movie ever. It was a memorable movie, though. I'm a big Buscemi fan and didn't even realize Brad Renfro was in that movie. Poor guy. And he was so awesome in The Client. Now I want to see Sleepers where he plays a young Brad Pitt.
